Closing California’s Housing Gap – produce 3,5 Million Homes by 2025

In a  recent study of Mc Kinsey a toolbox of solutions are described to help filling the large gap in housing supply. California could add more than five million new housing units in “housing hot spots”—which is more than enough to close the state’s housing gap. The report identifies 15 highly effective tools, ranging from finding housing hotspots, removing legal barriers, ensure housing access,  new financing options, social impact investors  and development of modualr construction can be downloaded HERE.
