EFL Autumn Conference Ghent on 22 and 23 November 2017
EFL’s Autum Conference 2017 will take place in the city of Ghent (Belgium) on November 22 and 23 2017. Hosting organisation is the Belgium housing association Volkshaard. The preparations for the conference are in full progress. The draft program can be downloaded HERE.
This time the theme of our conference will be Tenant Engagement and Cooperative Housing.
We will focus on the primary clients of the housing sector, the tenants. How to engage them in the process of policy development, neighborhood improvement and the creation of new services.
The second highlight will be cooperative housing. Across Europe we find many good and interesting examples of cooperative housing. This organisational form offers optimal opportunities to co-develop and co-manage affordable housing with a maximum influence of the residents.
The conference is open for EFL members, associates and other professionals in the field of affordable housing, sustainability and innovation. The conference is free of charge for members and associates. External participants pay a cost covering fee.
