German Housing Association Wiederaufbau new EFL Member

The German Wohnungsgenossenschaft “Wiederaufbau”,  located in the Braunschweig region of Lower Saxony, has entered the EFL membership on March 23 in Düsseldorf.  This housing association manages a portfolio of more than 10.000 dwellings and is one of the largest housing associations in Germany. With a total equity over 100 € million,  a solvency rate of 27% and EDIBTA of 20,7 € Million, its a financial strong company. Average rent level is 5€ per square meter.

The main goals of the membership to EFL are sharing know- how with European partners, learning from best practices and concrete collaboration in projects. Of special interest are refurbishment of the older housing stock, new energetic buildings, customer adapted dwellings for defined target groups and cost efficient construction.

Housing companies, both in the social housing and private sector can sign up as a member. Companies in the chain of value creation within the housing industry and development can apply for an asscoiated partnership. EFL is also open for scientific institutes and public organisations.
