Winner EFL/ ARA Design Competition is selected

by | Feb 17, 2016

The Jury of the ARA/ EFL Student Design Competition Acccessible Housing has come to a decision on February 15. A selection of 6 best entries have been made, after intensive discussions about a total of 31 entries from four countries.

The jury was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the submitted projects. The participating students not only focussed on the design aspects of the building(s) and the landscape, but most of them presented a clear vision about how ageing in the future will look like and how architecture can support elderly in preventing loneliness and stimulating health, diversity in daily life, usefulness and safety.

The award ceremony will take place on May 12 during the EFL Conference in Helsinki.
