Europe’s affordable housing system is under pressure, with falling development pipelines and limited financial capacity among traditional housing associations. At the same time, for-profit registered providers (FPRPs) in the UK are becoming an important and fast-growing part of the sector.
In this webinar, Steve Partridge (Director Housing at Savills) will explain how FPRPs bring new capital, development capacity and long-term investment into affordable and social housing — helping providers deliver more homes, manage financial constraints and explore new partnership models. Based on the latest Savills 2025 survey, he will outline key trends, investor motivations and practical collaboration opportunities.
đź’ˇ What you will learn

How private equity, pension funds and long-income investors are reshaping the sector
Why FPRPs are able to deploy capital
The four main asset segments (from new supply to mature stock) and where investors step in Â
