Topic Group Digitization in Nice EFL, 16–18 September 2026.

AI is rapidly moving from experimentation to everyday practice in housing organisations and professional life. But how can we make sure that our employees can actually use it – effectively, responsibly and with tangible benefits for their daily work?

This will be the central question of the upcoming meeting.

Rather than talking about AI only at a strategic level, this meeting will be highly practical. Together with experts and colleagues from across the EFL network, we will explore the opportunities and risks of AI for housing organisations, how to empower internal teams to develop their own AI-supported solutions, and what we can learn from AI already being applied in communication and data-management processes.

A particular item will be our hands-on workshop on Friday morning, where participants will experience how small AI applications can be built using Claude – moving from discussing AI to actually working with it.

And, as always with EFL, there will be plenty of opportunity for informal exchange: a welcome reception, dinner in Nice, a walk through the Old Town and Art District, and a concluding visit to EcoVallée’s Residence Méridia. Free of costs for paying EFL members.
