Speaker: Ad Hereijgers, Ritterwald
Most EU and UK housing markets face the urgent need for affordable housing also considering their differences: share in rental market, ownership rental properties, and rent levels and policies. In this webinar RITTERWALD will focus on what can be learned from Germany in terms of increased institutional investment (pension funds, insurance companies, and investment funds). Among others, these themes will be addressed:
- Stable, low-risk, long term returns, aligning well with regulated housing markets
- Moderate but secure financial returns over extended periods, making institutional investors suitable partners for housing investments
- Facts and Opinions of side effects of introducing private capital, for instance on rents and operational efficiency: based on kpi’s of listed company Vonovia SE.
