EFL in German Magazine DW: Switzerland, living areas for people, not for profit
The German housing magazine DW Die Wohnungswirtschaft published in it’s July edition an article in the series ‘Europe’ of EFL, written by Dr. Marie Glaser of ETH Zürich. In the article Dr. Marie Glaser describes the Swiss housing system, with a particular focus on rental homes. In particular about the importance of housing cooperatives in the city of Zürich. Switzerland is characterizd by more than 60% rental homes, of which 28% of social housing providers (public and cooperatives). The article shows the importance of the realisation of affordable homes in Zürich and the support the city itself. The article is in German language only. Link to the article.
