Housing Finance International publishes article Saskia van Balen & Joost Nieuwenhuijzen about Dutch Housing Market

In the most recent edition of the professional magazine ‘Housing Finance International’ an article written by Saskia van Balen (former EFL management assistant) and Joost Nieuwenhuijzen is published. The article describes the situation on the Dutch housing market, the latest housing policy developments and the trend towards a smaller rental housing market forced by a new rental cap that will be introduced. “There is a great need for sensible policies that restore calm and confidence in the market. It is counterproductive to prortray the private real estate sector as profit hungry freeloaders, and the same time to expect the same sector can play a role in (co)solving the housing need problem’.  Read the full article on page 52- 53.
