We are pleased share some significant developments in our Topic Group Construction. As you are aware, Eric Danesse, who has long spearheaded this group with high dedication, has decided to transition from his role. However, we are pleased to announce that our efforts have borne fruit during the summer months.
I am delighted to introduce you to our newly appointed duo of Topic Group Leaders Fabien Lasserre (Vilogia Lille) and Thorsten Schulte (Gewobag, Berlin). Both Fabien and Thorsten bring a wealth of experience and expertise in the real estate industry, and their willingness to step into this leadership role underscores their commitment to advancing our endeavors.
Fabien Lasserre: With a Master’s degree in Building Engineering from Compiegne, Fabien has traversed a distinguished career path. His journey began as a real estate project manager, followed by an impactful stint as a consultant on environmentally impactful projects across continents. Fabien’s experience also encompasses his role in shaping the environmental impact strategy for a vast portfolio of projects. His tenure at Vilogia since 2015 has been marked by groundbreaking achievements, including the creation of the technical innovation department and his pivotal role in developing PassivHaus and EnergieSprong certified projects. His forward-looking vision extends to his involvement in the formulation of Vilogia’s low-carbon strategy and renewable energy initiatives.
Thorsten Schulte: Thorsten’s journey is equally impressive, with his architectural studies culminating in a comprehensive understanding of construction management. His project management acumen led him to oversee diverse projects, including significant contributions to Berlin’s architectural landscape. Notably, he played an instrumental role in the Gigafactory project for Tesla in Berlin/Grünheide. As the Managing Director responsible for project developments at GEWOBAG since 2021, Thorsten is leading the charge in bringing approximately 9,500 apartments to life in Berlin over the next few years.
Their combined expertise, leadership acumen, and shared commitment to excellence align seamlessly with the goals of our Topic Group. With Fabien and Thorsten at the helm, we are ready for a future of innovation, sustainability, and impactful contributions to the construction sector.
