EFL Low Cost Building in Görlitz (2016)

Description: Public Housing company ‘Kom Wohnen’, located in the German town of Görlitz, challenged the industrial associates of EFL to jointly create and build a high quality apartment building at the lowest possible costs. The challenge was accepted by the constructors tor Vastbouw  from The Netherlands and B&O Wohnungswirtschaft from Germany. 

Results: The planning and design process took less than a year, after which the construction started. The planning and construction costs were 15% lower than usual at the time of construction.
