The EFL Topic Groups function as think-tanks for new projects. There are currently four active EFL Working Groups, composed of experts and staff from EFL member and associate organisations:

• Finance 
• Social
• Digitisation (European Digitisation Group – EDG)
• Construction
• Age Friendly Living

The first purpose of these working groups is to stimulate the sharing of housing expertise and best-practices. A secondary goal is to facilitate the co-creation of concrete projects and outputs, like site visits, guides, handbooks, case studies, databases, concrete projects, public competitions, standards for reporting, and EU funding applications.
